Melody has had an interest in photography at an early age and loved snapping photos of just about anything: especially people. During her adolescence she discovered her artistic talents, drawing, painting, and sculpting. Photography was also still an interest, but she never discovered her deep desire for it until her late 20's. At that time she obtained a manual 35mm camera as a gift from her father and the love soon developed for catching that perfect photograph. Over the next 8 years she took the opportunity to practice her skills and take some classes at Sheridan College.

Over the past 3 years she acquired 2 digital cameras, a new computer and some photo editing programs. With hard work and dedication she has honed her talent of drawing and photography into one. The artistic talents of drawing and painting have come through with beautiful results on the photographs she has taken.

Without a proper portfolio she decided to work for one full year, free of charge, for anyone who wished. The year went quickly and the work kept coming in. After the year was finished she was very pleased with the portfolio she built and the experience she gained. The praise given from clients was such a wonderful boost that it only added a bigger flame to her desire to become better, and more expressive through her work.

2002, 2003 and 2004 has brought 29 weddings, 3 engagement, 3 personal portraits and a couple pet portraits. All were a great experiences which brought wonderful photographs and memories.

Another talent has been in Photo Restorations. Amazing results with her drawing and painting talents are truly shown in the work done with the restorations.
